Peter and Paul Okoye popularly known as PSquare have finally reconciled after a serious feud.
The twin brothers, who had been estranged for years reconciled on Wednesday evening, thanks to their elder brother Jude Okoye, J. Martins and Barrister Somadina Eugene Okorie of Senocean Law Practice.
In a video shared on Instagram, the twin were seen hugging each other in public after things went sour between them many years back.
Recall that on Sunday, the twin brothers followed each other on Instagram, signaling that relief may be in sight after all.
Before the reconciliation, the platform which manages the affairs if J. Martin had earlier reported that Jude, their elder brother, had been mandated by concerned parties to ensure he brokers peace between the two.
A family member was quoted to have said, “The only person who has the key to P-square reconciliation is Jude, and he has been tasked by concerned family members to facilitate a swift truce between the siblings,”
Crime and Court News gathered that before they parted ways, they produced and released their albums through Square Records. In December 2011, they signed a record deal with Akon’s Konvict Muzik label.
In May 2012, P-Square signed a record distribution deal with Universal Music Group.
On 25 September 2017, numerous media outlets reported that the group disbanded. Reports about a breakup surfaced after Peter reportedly sent a termination letter to the group’s lawyer.
Prior to this report, the duo disbanded in 2016, supposedly over a disagreement about the role of their manager.
